All the receivers above still need a satellite dish, LNB, installation, adjustment and alignment. However, a internet connection is NOT required !
Dish:
The price for a “Martin265” high gain satellite dish is USD 1299,-, the adjustment / alignment is USD 100,-. Transport to location and installation has to be calculated for each and every individual sale.
Follow the link to see the performance from one of our dishes in heavy rain in CR:

Programming:
You can choose any programming you like direct from the Dish Network website starting at USD 19.99,- Do NOT place an order, just select ! Once you have selected your favorite program package let us know and we arrange everything else for you
http://www.dishnetwork.com/packages/programming/default.aspx
-- Leasing options and certain promotion will not apply since you are not in the U.S.A. --
Note: We do not activate any receivers other than purchased from DishCR !
*the prices are subject to change

I am not particularly interested in the TV portion although probably on the minimum subscription basis. My interest is more in the satellite internet portion. I have a development of approximately 40 acres...can we set up availability for everyone there? thanks

Hi,
I just posted about the satellite internet situation. There might be an other option just around the corner. Everybody is going to have a call phone anyway, so why not using it for the internet as well.
A TV setup for you and your clients is no problem

Why won't you activate receivers other than purchased from DishCR? I have a legitimate VIP 722 receiver. Why do I have to buy one from you?

Hi,
There is no money in it for me and I do not know the history of the receiver !
Why don't you activate the receiver with the service provider who sold it to you ? The legit seller has no problem activating equipment he sold.

I bought it in the US. I just bought a house in Tilaran and I want to use it there. Can a US service provider activate service in Costa Rica?

Hi again,
the only way how you get the box to work is with the person who sold it to you, I woudn't mention that you are in Costa Rica

Pat,
I live in Tronadora and have had Dish Network for three years now. Other than problems with wind knocking the dish off, I have not had any real complaints. I guess that I could use some kind of motor pointing system to make it easier.
My box is a 322 and I am required to use a card.
I do get some rain fade, but then we DO get a little rain here,eh?

I have a Dishnetwork subscription in the US. I spend part of the time in CR and part in the US. Can I bring a receiver that is activated in the US and use it in CR (Turrialba area)?

Hi,
Sure, all receiver activated in the US work here. The only thing you need is the dish !
