Hi Guys,

today we went to set a dish from the “ other guy ” to a new position and as it turns out, the dish was full of water ! I couldn’t believe it, this was the first time that we saw something like this. I mentioned the aluminum foil problem a few times before but this one is so clear that it  was actually perfect to make a small video with the cell phone.

What happened here is that after a couple of years the front of the dish came loose, separated itself from the back because of the aluminum foil inside acting as a separator, the dish cracked somewhere and filled up with rain water.

This is why we build our dishes like the big manufactures in the world with welded wire mesh inside and NOT with cheap aluminum foil. Aluminum foil belongs in the kitchen, NOT in a satellite Dish !
